Local jail status and past records use different Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office contacts. Chesapeake Correctional Center operates around the clock at 400 Albemarle Drive, Chesapeake, VA 23322. Its status line is 757-382-2883. The Administration and Jail lobbies are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed on weekends. Those public lobby hours are not release-processing hours.
